Abstract
32-year-old female presented to the operating room for thrombectomy of a subclavian vein DVT. During the surgery, the patient received general anesthesia via laryngeal mask airway. Upon emergence from anesthesia, the LMA was removed, and the patient was noted to have a jaw dislocation. We will discuss TMJ dislocation complications, incidence, and treatment following general anesthesia, as well as risk factors for TMJ dislocation.
