Abstract
This is a 34 yo F with a PMH of TGFBR1 mutation from Loeys Dietz Syndrome who presented to Corewell Health East for a planned Caesarean section. Loeys Dietz Syndrome is an autosomal dominant connective tissue disorder that can affect the vascular, skeletal, and cutaneous systems. She was followed by cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic Congenital Heart Disease Clinic who recommended delivering via C-section at a tertiary care facility with CT surgery on standby. This presentation will focus on perioperative anesthetic management of a high risk obstetric patient at risk for aortic dissection from a genetic mutation.
