Abstract
This is a 19 y.o. woman with a history of bipolar disorder admitted to the hospital for Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein IgG-Associated Encephalomyelitis. She received her COVID-19 vaccination 5 days prior to symptom onset. Progressive quadriparesis and deteriorating mental status prompted evaluation for airway and medical management of dysautonomia. In this case presentation, we will discuss the diagnostic evaluation and management of Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein IgG-Associated Encephalomyelitis, and the relationship between COVID-19 vaccination and central nervous system demyelination.
