Abstract
This case presents a 58-year-old male with ESRD on hemodialysis who was found to have a large right atrial thrombus from indwelling dialysis catheter. Upon removal by IR, patient continued to have positive blood cultures and a TEE was performed. Findings showed extensive subannular aortic root abscess that involved the left atrial wall, mitral valve, and left atrial appendage. Pt was boarded for a “Commando Procedure”. During this presentation we will discuss endocarditis and anesthesia implications of complex cardiac surgeries
