Abstract

Health equity is a challenging topic for many physicians. Issues related to race, gender, income, age and ability are tough conversations for our society today, with dialogue that can be loaded with generational trauma, acrimony, fear and guild. But, as the events of the past year have shown, they are among the most important discussions we can have.
