Abstract

We present a 76yo M, ASA 4E, who was admitted to our Surgical ICU with an acute right frontal parenchymal hemorrhage. The patient was intubated due to altered mental status and neurosurgery placed an EVD at bedside while 3% hypertonic saline & mannitol were administered. The patient was noted to have hypotension refractory to fluids and pressor support. Despite an increase in pressor requirement, the patients blood pressure continued to be labile. In this presentation we will discuss the differential of hypotension in the ICU plus addisonian crisis and its appropriate management.
