Abstract
We present a 32 yo G2P0010 with known Factor XI deficiency who was scheduled for elective cesarean delivery of Di/Di twins. The patient first presented to our Labor & Delivery Unit at 32 weeks 5 days after her water broke. She was diagnosed with PPROM and it was determined that the patient would need cesarean delivery when she reached 34 weeks gestational age. Due to her coagulopathy, FFP was given in pre-op to raise her Factor XI to an appropriate level. In this presentation, we will discuss Factor XI deficiency, its management, and neuraxial vs general anesthesia in the parturient.
