Abstract

The ASA Resident Component (RC) Governing Council is an elected seven-member committee that directs the programs and activities for residents and fellows-in-training at the national level. Residents gain leadership experience and interact with peers and mentors in the field. Positions available include:

Any resident with 18 months or more left in residency or fellowship is eligible to apply. PGY-1, CA-1, and CA-2 residents are eligible, as are CA-3 residents pursuing a fellowship. Duties and requirements of each officer position can be found in the bylaws on the ASA website.
