Abstract
Capsular contracture (CC) is the leading complication of breast implant surgery with various risk factors contributing to its development. While the pathophysiology and surgical techniques related to CC development are well studied, the demographic and socioeconomic factors are less investigated. This study aims to explore the influence of demographic and socioeconomic variables, such as age, race, and insurance type on the development of CC.
